DMCA Notice & Copyright Policy
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have adopted the policy below toward infringement of copyright. We reserve the right to (1) block access to or remove material that we believe in good faith to be copyrighted material that has been illegally copied and distributed by any of our advertisers, affiliates, content providers, members or users, and (2) remove and discontinue service to repeat offenders.
Your use of our services is at all times subject to our Terms of Service, which includes this Copyright Dispute Policy. Any terms used in this Policy without being defined here have the meaning given to them in our Terms of Service.
Procedure for Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that material or content on or accessible through our services infringes your copyright (or the copyright of someone you are authorized to act on behalf of), please send a notice of copyright infringement to our Designated Agent containing the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Once we receive a valid notice of infringement, we reserve the right to remove or disable access to the infringing material, notify the content provider accused of infringement, and terminate that content provider's access to our services if they are a repeat offender.
Counter-Notice Procedure
If a content provider believes that material that was removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that they have the right to post and use that material, they may send us a counter-notice containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the content provider.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the content provider has a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- The content provider's name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement consenting to the relevant jurisdiction for legal proceedings.
If a valid counter-notice is received, we may, at our discretion, restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days, unless the original complaining party files a legal action.
